Development of the business of the Grant Contest winners

The winners of the grant competition for the project "Economic opportunities for people affected by the conflict" continue to receive equipment. This week the equipment was received by Tatiana Ivanitsa from Novomoskovsk for her store "Inspiration: store salon of creativity and needlework, work handmade." The owner of the beauty salon "Sсissors" Olga Bobrovska, this week also received equipment -  for the cabinet of the master of manicure and cosmetology cabinet. Thanks to the new equipment not only  the comfort of clients will be improved while receiving procedures, but also conditions will be created for the attraction of additional specialists, including internally displaced persons.


Training on Financial Awareness was held in Kamenske

On May 8, 11, and 12, 2018, training sessions for pensioners and people of retirement age, internally displaced persons under the Financial Awareness for a Confident Future program within the framework of the USAID Ukraine project  "Transformation of the Financial Sector" were held in Kamyansk, Dnipropetrovsk Region. The main theme was the reserve fund: how to create, where to find money, how to protect it from thieves, from yourself and from inflation. Deposit - an instrument for enriching or counteracting inflation? Also was talked about how to plan  own budget, get rid of bad financial habits and start saving on it, finding a common language with local authorities and improving community life. Many questions, a lot of reflection. The training came over very quickly. Then the participants  will work on their own financial strategies on their own. But also project coaches are always ready to provide additional advice and support to those who are really ready to work on their confident financial future.

Financial awareness trainings in the region

During April, in the cities of Dnipropetrovsk region, trainings were held within the framework of the project "Financial Awareness for a Confident Future". The project coaches visited Novomoskovsk, Pavlograd and Kryviy Rih, where they trained for young people, people of pre-retirement age and retirement age, as well as internally displaced persons. The participants of the training in their feedback noted the importance and value of such training: "Each training is new knowledge and new opportunities for development." Thanks to the organizers and trainers for the development tools! "- says Anna Sjamyanista, a training participant.
